What is an Inspection?

No home is perfect, not even new construction. A professionally conducted home inspection is becoming standard procedure in home buying. The primary purpose of the inspection is to educate the buyer about the home they are purchasing. A good home inspector knows how the home's many systems and components work together. The inspector encourages the buyer to attend the home inspection. Attending the inspection provides an important opportunity for the buyer to learn first hand how their prospective new home works. The home inspection will alert the buyer of any systems in need of immediate attention or not functioning properly at the time of the inspection.

FRI - Front Range Real Estate Inspectors, Inc., records observations during your inspection on a hand-held computer system that assures a comprehensive inspection meeting the highest professional standards. This system enables us to give you a full and extensive report on site describing the components of the home on site.

Our home inspection is a visual examination of the components of a home. FRI - Front Range Real Estate Inspectors, Inc. performs a thorough examination of the property, including (but not limited to):

We report the conditions observed during the inspection both verbally and in our computer printed report. The report is presented in a three ring binder which includes additional homeowner information and maintenance tips. We also furnish the buyer's agent with an "executive summary" that gives an overview of the home and observations made at the inspection.
